Texas Tactical will be putting on a "Deja Vu"
IDPA match this *Saturday AND *Sunday 7/21/07 and
7/22/07 at the Cedar Ridge Range.

This will give you the opportunity to shoot on
either or both days. The stages will be the same.
If you shoot both days in the same division and
using the same gun we will put you in the "Deja
Vu" results and throw out your worst run on each
stage. Or you can shoot another division and
different gun and you will be scored as usual for
both guns.

Throwing out your worst times can be a very
beneficial tool. It allows you to go all out on a
stage and not have to play it safe for
competition. This can help in finding out exactly
where your limits are and finding out what you
can or can't do by pushing the envelope. It can
be a great confidence builder.

Hope you can make it Saturday or Sunday or better
yet, Both days! :)

A quick note about Saturdays match:

There is an informal "Postal Match" that several
clubs across the United States are participating
in.

It is four stages and all participating clubs
will set it up and shoot it the exact same way.
Then we will submit the scores to be compiled.
This is a fun way to let people informally
compete with other shooters from across the
nation.

Over the next 3 matches we will incorporate one
or more of these stages into our regular IDPA
match until all four stages have been shot.

These matches will be run normally and you can
decide if you want your scores from these stages
to be included in the "Postal Match". Our local
results will not be affected.

So if you want to be included in the "Postal
Match" be sure to come to the next 3 matches so
you don't miss one of the stages.

EVENT: Carbine Match
DATE: Saturday May 5th
LOCATION: **Cedar Ridge Range**

Texas Tactical will be putting on a Carbine Match
this Saturday May 5th, 2007 at the *Cedar
Ridge Range* between Austin and San Antonio,
Texas. Come one come all...and bring a friend.

If anyone would like to help with setup please
arrive at 0800hrs OR 0900hrs sharp. The range
owners open the gate at 0800hrs for us, then they
lock it back until 0900hrs when the range
officially opens. Help would be greatly
appreciated.
