Carbine & Night shoot results

Wow! Saturday was a very long day. In fact
Jennifer and I didn't get home until Sunday! Here
is a quick synopsis of our day. We got up at
0700hrs and started getting all the match gear
together and loaded into the truck. We arrived at
the range about 1000hrs to start setting up the
Tactical Carbine match. Got setup shortly before
the match was set to begin. Shot the Carbine
match and then started setting up for the
Night/Lowlight shoot. Then we went and had a nice
dinner with all our shooting friends (first time
got to sit down all day). Then we returned to the
range to make the final preparations for the
Night shoot. Finished setting up and had a
shooters meeting that ended about full dark.
Started shooting the Match with the exception of
the Disco Madman stage, which had to be
completely redone because the strobe in the
shooters face was way to disorienting (another
one of my bright ideas that looked so good on
paper) The Match ran smoothly due to our
excellent S.O.s. We finished the pistol portion
of the Night shoot and we setup and ran the
Shotgun side match. We finished tearing down and
loading the truck around Midnight. We finally
arrived home about 0100 on SUNDAY! We unloaded
the truck and finally crawled into bed about
0200. So there was our very long day on the
range.
I really enjoy the Night/Lowlight season
but........ I for one am glad it is over for this
year. I am already thinking about ideas for next
years Night/Lowlight season.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who
worked so hard to make these matches possible.

Huge thanks to Jim Beitel who ran all over the
country on short notice rounding up balloons, the
strobe, and the generator. Thank you Jim!

Thanks to our extremely hard working S.O.s: Chuck
Cothren, Bubba, Jim Beitel, John Passmore, Alan
Colley, Mike Lusk, Erik O'Shaughnessy, Jason
Kendelhardt, Robert Ripps, Andy Bartosch, Michael
Carter, David Christofferson, Jim Tackett, and
Jason Beitel. Jason also showed up early and
spent alot of time on range clean up...Thanks
Jason.

Now heres what y'all have been waiting for
