Wetsuits:
they are a necessity here in
If you've recently purchased a wetsuit and are wondering how to use it
properly, or if you're considering a wetsuit purchase and wonder about the
different options, or if you're an experienced wetsuit swimmer just looking to
hang out on Sunday morning, this is the clinic for you. This clinic will be

The FREE clinic will be held THIS SUNDAY, May 24, at 8:00 AM, at
This will be a one-hour session including:

-if you haven't swum in your wetsuit yet this year, soak it in the bathtub on
Friday then let it dry out. Otherwise you'll think it shrunk over the
winter. (This is an old Emilio DeSoto tip from Slowtwitch.)
-if you
don't have a wetsuit, email me your height & weight with your RSVP, I'll
post a listing later this week of what sizes I'm looking for in case we can
arrange a loaner. (I've got nothing better to do Saturday, so I can drive
around borrowing wetsuits.)
Please RSVP to Mike Abegg, rhysem@... or michaelabegg@
