Hi all,
Jim, our webmaster, should have the attached flyer posted at
www.tcmultisportsclub.com very
soon. He’s recovering from Boston Marathon so we’ll give him
a break! This will be a fantastic clinic presented by the lead trainer
from CycleOps. There is a formal presentation on training with power
meters (of any kind), time for Q and A, and a demonstration of performing a
wattage test with local stud Devon Palmer being the victim.
We are continuing with our running and strength workouts on
Wednesday evenings at Saint Paul College. I’m leading (or following
dependant on who shows up) a stair workout on the James Jay Hill stairs
starting at 6:30p.m. We’ll meet right in front of the main entrance
to the college and all are welcome. As we are mainly doing stair repeats,
every and all abilities are encouraged to attend. Jonny-J will lead strength
training along with some of the Personal Trainer Internship students on the
second floor of the college in room 2225. Again, anybody can attend. You
can receive an assessment including body fat analysis, flexibility and muscle
balance as well.
That’s the basic news for now other than the fact that
Steve Gunther is a god and got me into IM WI for this September. The goal
is to get back to Hawaii 2010 and race it for real. I hope to see you at
one of our many upcoming events!
