New Year's eve   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #158 of 372 |
Hey all,

If you don't yet have plans for New Year's eve here is a possibility:

Party at my abode. We will kick off with kid friendly festivities from 6-7ish
(rated G), progress to PG rating from 7ish to 8, move on to PG-13 from 8-9, and
then it goes directly to unrated.

This will be a 'rock band' theme party so come in your best rocker attire
prepared to rock out with the rock band game provided by Jim and Heidi Rob and
previewed at a recent Joe and Lindsey Rydel party. Poker will be available for
those with a more reserved nature and of course twister to keep the hard core
tri geeks limber and strong. In fact, twister was the original pilates of the
60's - a little known Cliff Claven fact. Overall winner of the twister game
will receive a new unitard from Louis Garneua circa 1974. Must be present to win
this time - you tube video will not be accepted from Bill Copenhagen.

Other highlights include a sauna (bring a swim suit this time Jonny-J cuz that
was awkward for 'almost' everyone last time), a keg from Summit Brewery, and a
newly refurbished basement for gaming enjoyment, happy toddies and the like.

As is always the rule, all are welcome. Just don't puke in my new basement or
drive home drunk. You can stay over if necessary. Sober cab drivers are not
allowed to get hit by others while heading home either(Joe).

Please e-mail me if you plan to come so I can get the appropriate sized keg.
I'll have some wine and spirits too as well as some eats but feel free to
contribute to the cause by bringing some extra grub and bubbly. This is a great
chance to carb up for the 100 x 100 with Dave Cameron!

This is also a pre-final surgery party for me. I get the rest of the unneeded
parts yanked on the second. But if all goes well they very well may be out
early on the first.
