Here’s the rundown for Saturday the 10^th of September.

 

10:30 AM – Practice @ National Sports Center in Blaine MN. http://www.nscsports.org/directions.html

This will be an informal toss around where we can practice some basics. For the most part we’re just moving practice here for one day so we can get some ball time in, yet still be there to support our Valkyries when they start playing @ noon. No Boots / No Cones. Bring balls though.

12:00PM – Game Time: The Valkyries will be playing on the Rugby Pitch which on the map is Field N1. Even if you can’t make practice I wanna see everyone who isn’t out of town, and isn’t handling a life or death situation to be there! This team has done a lot for us this summer. We owe them our support on the pitch, and we could all benefit from watching the game.

 

POST Valkyries: The Big Pitch @ Columbia Heights. This is an all day Tourney held by the Metropolis RFC. We should have time to catch the last match and I think it would be very worthwhile for us all to be there for it.The Metropolis teams are some of the most skilled in our Union, watching them would be very educational for all of us.  Directions can be found here: http://www.metropolisrugby.com/findus.html
