Some of you know that my training partner and TAT member Traci Johnson drew a
lottery spot to Kona this year. She has instantly become a local celebrity and
the Gatorade plant manager gave her a supply of Gatorade for her training up to
race time. A group in Pryor is organizing a mini tri to help send her to
Hawaii. It is a 200 yard swim, 8 mile bike and 1 mile run. It is not USAT
Sanctioned and will not count toward your ranking or the team points. It is not
a TAT event. It is however, a great chance to help get someone into the sport.
Maybe you know someone who needs a small event to get into the sport. If you
do, or are interested in just doing it for fun yourself, send me an email at
