The time has come to ask for volunteers to support the first event of our
season. This race will be the first for a lot of potential new triathletes. We
need a quality support staff to make this a great event for them. And some of us
mid-pack age groupers might need a little help too.
First, if you're not competing please volunteer. It takes as much energy to
cheer others on as it does to compete. Second, if you are competing ask your
family and/or friends to volunteer.
We all know races don't happen without volunteers. And we all need to give
back to the sport now and then. And speaking from experience I worked 16 races
last year and I'm on tap for about 26 this year. Granted 23 of those are runs,
but those don't happen without help either.

On the minimum we need 23 people, 30 is optimum, more is better (more is
better?)
Volunteers will get a special shirt designating them as volunteers.
