Subject: TANYC HIP Orthopedic / Physical TherapistsHi everyone,
Can anyone recommend an orthopedic or physical therapist that takes HIP insurance (or just
a good one even if you don't know the insurance)? I had an issue with my knee and my lower
back - my doctor glanced at my knee and said it was fine, checked out my lower back and
sent me to a spine center for therapy for the back. The physical therapist I was sent to
doesn't get triathlons, I was checked out by an asst (which normally i would be OK with b/c
everyone has to learn and come up the ranks, but this person kept asking, is this what i do
now? etc etc and i don't have the time for that). I had told my doctor exactly what I was
looking for in a PT and didn't get it - just completed a half and my knee has now been
swollen and sensitive for over a week. So I would absolutely love any recommendations for
doctors triathletes would recommend!
thanks so much!!!!
cheers,
beth
