Welcome to the newsgroup of the Triathlon Association of NYC. TANYC's mission, as a non-profit organization, is to serve the New York City triathlete community. TANYC will offer triathletes of all levels an enhanced triathlon experience by providing access to a number of resources that include group training, expert information from knowledgeable coaches, retailer discounts, and assistance with race logistics to name a few. TANYC's goals also include growing the NYC triathlon community by recruiting new triathletes, embracing them, and easing their transition. Above all, TANYC will provide a social platform to network, train, and exchange knowledge and experiences, and with those that have similar goals.
By becoming a TANYC member, you can take advantage of formally coached training programs, participate in events, access our online coaching resources, and join our Mentor/Mentee Program (MMP) to name a few.
