(wcleak@...) thought you might like the following article from the Puget Sound Business Journal: The sender's comment about the article: TRENDS: Aside from Great Wolf, other, smaller companies are beginning to enter the indoor water park market, said Jeff Coy, owner of JLC Hospitality Consulting, a travel industry research and consulting firm based in Cave Creek, Ariz. According to Coy, hotel water parks are popular with developers because the hotels can charge higher nightly rates for the rooms. During 2007, 33 new hotel and indoor water parks opened, and 55 more are slated to open this year, JLC Hospitality Consulting reported. "Indoor water parks are growing quite rapidly," Coy said.
