Bill -  Thank you for your inquiry about the Dolphin Pool.

It is true that the Dolphin Pool at Woodmoor is begin considered for closing.  No final decisions have been made, however, the District is currently making a number hard decisions on how to use available educational dollars and the pool is on the list.

Currently the Northshore School District is accepting proposals from community members and local organizations who are interested in taking over the pool operation for school and community use.  They have received a couple of proposals from regional community groups.

The person to talk to is Doug Wilson in Support Services.  His number is 425-408-7804 and his email address is dwilson@....  He can give the details.

I read the papers ~ Northshore School District declining enrollment and funding shortfalls.
 
We're familiar with past evening lesson programs ~ friends of the lesson teachers and program owners.
 
I'd like to do what I can to drum up support, through a wide network in the swim community.
 
What can you advise/suggestions?  Or can you redirect me?
