An news update:
I was unable to attend this event, but the Seattle Times article holds promise for things
developing to Kenmore's east, and prospects for the swimming community.
Note that NPRSA has made NO final announcement if/when/where on a pool, until the new
study (early 2008) is conducted with public outreach.
There was strong support, within a prelimary focus group I did attend in December, for Bothell
to be the NPRSA preferred location for any new swimming pool proposals, particulary with
I405/SR522/SR527 access and from Juanita, and the likelyhood of available public sector land
the logical synergy of nearby retail and other community ammenities.
