• Do you support the notion that our public pools are important to a sense of community, youth activity, all-age safety and health?
• Is it important enough to join the Support Northshore Aquatics blog/listserve or be a fan in Facebook ……… for us to reach you and keep you informed? Headcount on a list helps show interest and support.
• When was the last time you expressed your feelings on the matter to city council members? They can’t read minds. Noise counts!
• Will the silent majority decide?

CURRENT STATUS:

2009.08 ~ The Northshore/Ruiz-Costie Pool pending a new operator stepping forward. It is mothballed in the interim. Let your NPRSA reps know you want this pool open.

2009.06 ~ WA State Parks & Rec and West Coast Aquatics have reached an agreement on a concession/operator contract (5 year term) for Carole Ann Wald Memorial Pool .

2009.05 ~ Kenmore & Bothell support funding further outreach/education, HOWEVER Woodinville, Unincorp King & Snohomish County reps remain uncommitted due to current economic conditions (as such, NPRSA reps need to hear from their constituencies.

2009.05 ~ Bothell now owns the Northshore/Ruiz-Costie Pool land. What does the future hold?
