I have 19 spots open its fun and free to participate, but I am only
looking for active members that really want to play. So feel free to

I spoke with a good friend of mine that is an season ticket account
rep for the clips and he said that the clips are gonna match on LO!
But if the heat dont sign LO that the clips are ready to make him a
huge contract! This is a rock solid source people. LO said the things
he did because he was told by riley as a way that the clips wont
match the offer. Bottom line: the clips will either match or sign LO
to a big contract.
Well, the point guard starting job I believe should be given to
Marko Jaric, because he was very productive with those limited
minutes he was given. As for the backup... that's another issue, the
Clippers do have Dooling, but he hasn't stepped it up. Many people
belive that the Clippers will sign up Marcus Hatten, their star
standout in the summer league... in fact he did so well, they didn't
let him play that much so other teams couldn't scout him... but
here's my take on it... there's still an GREAT unsigned free
agent... Rafer Alston. Okay, you might be wondering who the hell I
am talking about... unless you know streetball, then you know I am
talking about none other than the legendary Skip to my Lou!! Yes, he
is still unsigned and he posted career numbers with the Raptors last
year. He would be a great fit with the Clippers, he has the energy
to boost the Clippers off the bench, the creativity to mesh with
them, and the street mentality and will to win every single game.
Plus, the Clippers would get a whole lot more of money from ticket
sales... LOL! Watch Kobe get crossed... wait... he's not gonna be
playing anytime soon, LoL!!
Hi all,
both myself Nicole and partner Jayson are from Perth Australia and
keen clippers fans, however we also collect historical information on
nba franchises primarily related to coaches and executives.
If any member can help us out with a list of these dating as far back
as possible please shoot us an email as being from Australia this
type of info is hard to come by.
any help would be greatly appreciated

I say 60 million is too good for Areans, but its good the Clipper
curse of a closed wallet is gone... however, the Clippers might just
go to Speedy Claxton, if they can't land Areans... which is what I
hope for, because Speedy will be more reliable and much cheaper.

Exacto Mundo. But it is off now that Management revealed that we are
re-signing Brand Maggs and Odom and trying to get Gilbert Arenas.---

Well, I would assume because Sterling doesn't care about how the
team does, and is way more interested in making money, than see his
team prosper. And the fact that we haven't tried to re-sign any
free agents, or keep the players we have.

Well, now that Kandi man is a T-Wolf, I would love to have Jimmy
Jackson. I think Kendall Gill is way past his prime, and would just
be a waste of money. I also heard that the Clipps are interested in
Gilbert Arenas, since Andre Miller is going. I like Arenas a lot,
but I doubt that we'll get him.

Well, Kandi man is not a big piority for the Clippers rite now, and
they will probably match the offer sheet of any team, as long as it's
resonable... 6 million or lower that is... (fat chance of that
happening)
The thing that is worrying me now is Maggette, because I hear he is
getting 74 million/6 years from the Jazz, hopefully the Clippers can
lure a vetern to replace Maggs... I want either Jim Jackson or
Kendell Gil... I ono... what do you think?

What does everyone think of Dunleavy saying that he would like to
have Olowakandi stay with the Clippers? My view is this: Why?
He's average less than 12 points a game since he's been here, and is
basically a waste of space and money. With the amount of money that
we're paying him, we could afford to get someone who isn't a chump.
I was hoping the J. Kidd would sign with San Antonio, so that maybe
we would have a chance to get Tony Parker, since Andre's leaving,
but that didn't quite work out.

Oh no... did you see the jersey number Chris Kamon was holding up...
number 35?!! This rookie needs to learn some Clippers history before
he chooses his number, number 35 is a sacred number, the number of
Mr. Clipper, Loy Vaught!! I seriously hope he reconsiders his
number, because number 35 of the Clippers will be hard to live up to
and actually should be retired already!
If you are planning on purchasing a full Clippers Season package,
please contact me. I have $180 credit for a Clippers season package
that I am trying to get rid of. I would like to sell it for $80.00
OBO. If interested, call Jenny at 626-512-3184. Thanks!
Kaman is going to be a stud. I went to college at CMU and the kids
got skillz. He already has put on a lot of size since is freshman
year, and he knows he needs more. Its been an ongoing project. He
might not ever be able to man up on Shaq, or Yao, but he has the
potential to rock at least 20 teams Centers. Look at his FT%, you
cant even foul him at the end of the game.
I think T.J. Ford, Chris Kaman, and Dwayne Wade would all be great
choices. I personally would like the Clippers to pick Kaman because
of the huge numbers he put up in college, plus the Clippers would
need a good center if Olowokandi leaves (a very likely scenario).

It seems like the basic argument for sterling is this: until one
proved he's shaq/kobe/tmac superstar status, no money for you.
While
that's a fair argument, it is a flawed basis for running a team
that
aims at winning for so many reasons which I will not go into.
It is no secret that sterling plays it like a businessman, that
unless
he's 100% sure he'll win the championship, he's satisfied with
finishing last year in and year out. The thinking is, if I'm
not
going to win it all, why not just take the profit? Fair enough,
so
here's my humble opinion of what I think every clipper fan
should do.
First, we need to make the economics not work for sterling. The
truth
is that he can run the team to be profitable year in and year
out
without winning anything. So the fans need to do 4 simple
things, DO
NOT GO TO CLIPPERS GAMES. DO NOT BUY CLIPPERS MERCHANDISE. DO
NOT
WATCH CLIPPERS ON TV. DO NOT EVEN LISTEN TO THEM ON RADIO.
Let's try to see how sterling makes out this season along. The
clippers drew 700000+ fans this season, at average ticket price
of 40
dollars. That's 28 mil in tickets for the season. You add that
with
26 mil from national tv revenue, 15 mil in luxury tax and escrow
tax
rebates. That's 69 mil(the number we know) + his local revenues
+ his
concession stands percentage. Take that - 42.7 mil in player
salary -
operation cost he's making a huge amount of money(20 mil+?) just
this
season along. Now while the fans aganized over the losing, he's
laughing all the way to his bank. Now emotions aside, I for one
will
not let him rape me of my hard earned cash anymore. It's
obvious he
has no passion for the team, why should the fans invest?
