WEEK TRIP SIGN UP ~ July 29th

We are making a slight change to the procedure which has been used for the last couple of years for trip sign-ups, but you still will not have to be present and will not have to wait on any lines. Trip participants will be selected from those checks received by the Skimeister before Wednesday, July 29th. To do this, you may give your deposit check(s) to the Skimeister or, if you cannot come to a meeting (i.e. will be on vacation, have to work, or reside in another state), you may MAIL your deposit check(s) to the Skimeister at the following address: Jeff Meyer, P. O. Box 303, Lake Grove, NY 11755-0303. Please remember that these must be received prior to July 29th. If you bring a check to the meeting on July 29th, the drawing may have already been done. The deposit amount for all of the one-week trips will be $200 per person.

For the benefit of new members, and to remind old ones, the club's policy regarding sign-ups on trips is that every member has a right to sign up for any trip, and may also sign up one additional member (for a trip they are going on) at the same time. The slight change we are making concerns the procedure for signing up another person during the drawing for the trips. First, both members must submit a check for the amount of the deposit ($200 for a week trip). Second, each member must write the trip name and the name of the other member they wish to sign-up in the "memo section" of their check. Once one of the member's check is drawn for the trip, the other member is automatically on the trip and both deposit checks for $200 each will be deposited by the trip leader.
