Nancy Adler - Killed in Car Accident - August 26th 2008

One woman was killed and one man and two teens were seriously injured in a two-car crash Tuesday night on Merrick Avenue in East Meadow.

Nassau County police said Nancy Adler, 55, of Mesa Road in Syosset was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at the intersection of Merrick and Luddington Road at 9:47 p.m.

Police said Syed Shah, 26, of Mitchell Street in Uniondale was driving his 2004 Acura southbound on Merrick when he collided with the 2008 Audi being driven by Adler.

Shah and two "juvenile males" were taken to Nassau University Medical Center with serious injuries.
