Following on from the success of Ski Dubai, another indoor ski and
snowboard resort is being planned, this time in Israel. To be called
the Sha'ar HaGilboa Center, it will be located on top of Mt. Gilboa in
northern Israel, an hour and a half from Tel Aviv. The $20 million
project has been approved by the Israeli Ministry of Interior and will
feature a 375-acre indoor resort, including night skiing, gondolas, and
a ski school. It is expected to open in 2009 ...
