As most of you know better than me Hunter can change like the wind!
In 24 hours my on the mountainside living friends said Minya Konka went from powder to concrete (That's the Hunter I remember from 20 yrs ago.)
The good news was that that a scratchy Hellgate softened with the Sunday overnite rain and turned into a very edge setable run. Belt parkway held up ok.
Hunter promises more beginner and intermediate terrain opening up for the weekend.
I'm headed up there again this weekend to complete my instructor training, so I will give you an update Sun nite.
For you midweek day trippers Catamount and Butternut are starting to make snow. I'm guessing both may be open this time next week.
