I agree with Mr. Biery.
So – for my and Connie’s vote, we prefer Sunday outside of NFL season – otherwise Saturday. Tee hee.
What has been wrong about Saturday pickup? It has always been strong. I can rarely make any weeknight these days, so don’t count on me for Tuesdays.
Also, Akimbo wants to have pickup at Bear Creek Park this Thursday because league is cancelled. Can we have a pickup on Thursday?

I'm sorry, but I can't make it on Tuesdays. On the other hand, I'm not surprised no-one showed up yesterday - wasn't it raining?? I checked the radar before I drove up, saw a big orange blob over the fields, made one phone call to check on others' opinions (I got 6!), and decided not to make the 45 minute drive. I was pretty bummed, 'cause I had to miss last week due to family committments.
Now, I believe that it is a bad idea to shift the pickup game to Sunday, as it has caused lots of confusion and mixed turnouts each time it has happened in the past! The shifting back and forth bi-yearly doesn't work very well. If the day of weekend pickup IS to be shifted, I believe that there should be some discussion (as we did a few months ago), and that this decision should not be made by 1 or 2 people alone.
