Thanks for the input. I think we also need to make sure that everyone knows what is going on.  Saying this, I still believe that we should switch this to Sunday (don't know if you have a preference) as i feel that there would be a better turnout.  There are two consecutive weekends of tournaments here which means no pickup on the weekend but when we start back up i think it should be on sunday.  As you are far out of town i respect your situation in the fact that you need to know when this happens, but we are looking to get together as many people as possible to simply play.  I hope this makes sense and you can work with this.

I'm sorry, but I can't make it on Tuesdays. On the other hand, I'm not surprised no-one showed up yesterday - wasn't it raining?? I checked the radar before I drove up, saw a big orange blob over the fields, made one phone call to check on others' opinions (I got 6!), and decided not to make the 45 minute drive. I was pretty bummed, 'cause I had to miss last week due to family committments.

Now, I believe that it is a bad idea to shift the pickup game to Sunday, as it has caused lots of confusion and mixed turnouts each time it has happened in the past! The shifting back and forth bi-yearly doesn't work very well. If the day of weekend pickup IS to be shifted, I believe that there should be some discussion (as we did a few months ago), and that this decision should not be made by 1 or 2 people alone.

My 2 cents.

Pickup on Tuesday is NOT CANCELLED!  WE ARE PLAYING ON TUESDAY!  And i expect everyone to come out this week.  especially this tuesday considering that we have no summer league and no pickup on the weekend.
 
On this note, Jennifer and I have wanted to change the weekend pickup to Sunday.  We showed up this weekend and no one else did.  In the Springs we are getting super soft and this is what is going to happen.  WE are playing on Tuesday and Sunday!  Show up this tuesday.  i am getting sick of this scene and we need to be playing.  come out.  if you need directions call me 719-322-6775.
