Are lottery clubs and pools legal?
Yes. States with lotteries recognize lottery clubs, groups and pool playing.
ShareLotto does not sell lottery tickets. Only licensed retailers who have been
contracted by the New York State Lottery Commission are authorized to sell
tickets. ShareLotto promotes a group lottery club over the internet to enhance
its club member’s chances of winning. If you can’t get out of the house, or if
there are no lotteries in your state, this may be your only way to play the
lottery.

Doesn’t the United States Postal Service have rules regarding lotteries?
Yes, several laws are in the US Code. Sec. 3005 regarding lotteries and has
been on the books for about 50 years. It was written to prevent people from
starting their own lotteries. ShareLotto is not conducting a lottery -- we are
merely a club playing the New York State lottery. Another statute frequently
referred to is Sec. 1302 - Mailing lottery tickets or related matter. We do not
mail any lottery tickets or New York State lottery materials through the mail.

Who is eligible to join ShareLotto Membership Club?
IMPORTANT NOTICE: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited.
Lottery drawings are available only to legal residents of the United States
and U.S. territories (D.C., Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Guam). Must be
18 or older with valid E-mail address and Social Security number. U.S. Federal,

Can you guarantee any winnings?
No. With all state lotteries, there are many losers compared to the few
winners. No one can guarantee a winner. History has shown that the club method
(or pooling) of lottery play produces more winning tickets than any other
method. Being patient and playing the lottery through a club such as ShareLotto
gives you a better chance of being part of the jackpot prize. We reduce the
odds.

How do I find out what numbers you are playing for me?
You will be given the opportunity to choose your own numbers and then you will
receive an “Order Confirmation” email that will have your numbers listed. You
also know when your subscription starts and ends. Each drawing you will be able
to go on-line and view the actual scanned tickets well in advance before the
drawing. You can also check on-line for your numbers and the winning number
results for all games played by the group. You should have a “PayPal” account to
order your shares and to get paid when a prize is won. Winning numbers can be
verified on the internet at www.nylottery.org , the official website of the New
York State Lottery.

Can I play my own numbers without sharing?
No, because the whole concept behind SharLotto is the act of pooling each
others numbers together, and if someone else’s number hits, then we all win.
However, you can play individual games such as the Daily Number; the Win4; the
Take5; NYS Lotto; and Mega Millions games, but you will be put into a group and
if you win, you must share your winnings, and vice versa; the group must share
with you.

How do I know that you are an honest company?
Go back and read our old messages. Some of our members have been with us since
our first year! We have operated our lottery club since September 4, 2000 and
have purchased every ticket that we claimed. In fact, ticket purchases are
scanned and uploaded to the files area just in case anyone wants to see them!
Trust is very important. The ShareLotto Membership Club accepts and pays
winnings to its members through the Paypal site. This is the most secured online
site for merchants and consumers, and they accept most all credit cards.
ShareLotto is a “Verified Member” and has an excellent standing with Paypal.

How can I contact ShareLotto If I have a Question?
We can be contacted by sending an email to ShareLotto@.... If needed, we
will provide you a telephone number to speak with us or a fax number if you need
to fax over your “Contract Agreement”. You can also send questions, comments,

What will happen if a ShareLotto Group hits the Jackpot?
When we win the top prize or the Jackpot - each "Paid Member" in the
numbered winning group ONLY will share 1/10th share, or 2/10th for
members with two shares, etc. Also, any "Paid Member" who was not in
the winning group, and has purchased shares within the last 30 days
will be as an "Active Member" entitled to 1/10th share of the
ShareLotto 1/10th share.

Second, we will contact our attorney immediately to advise on legal
matters and distribution of money to the ten winning members.

Third, we will contact our accountant to provide the correct forms
necessary for tax purposes for each winning member.

Yes, each member will be responsible for claiming their share of
winnings. The Lottery Commission will also need each winning members
name and social security number and address for their record.
