Hi,
I posted about a month ago announcing that MapMuse.com had added
interactive mapping of downhill ski resorts, cross country ski
areas, ski shops, and ski clubs across the country. Since that time,
we have been flooded with emails with information on additional ski
areas, shops and clubs, and enhanced information on what we already
have mapped. We have realized through this process that the people
with the best information on local ski areas, clubs and shops are
skiers themselves. In that vein, we have developed a process whereby
skiers can add ski areas, shops and clubs, and additional
descriptive information directly to the maps. We believe that
through this kind of community effort that we will be able to
provide the most descriptive, and comprehensive maps for everyone!
We would love if you would participate in the process, by making any
changes you see fit to the maps, and passing the word on to fellow
skiers. Also, as before, we would appreciate a link if you have a
ski related website!
Links to the ski pages are as follows:

Today I delivered the gifts to the Salvation Army that were donated by the people that attended the Christmas party. The whole back of my van was filled with the wonderful toys that you donated. The Salvation Army workers were so appreciative of our support.
I took the gifts to an old furniture store in Cocoa where they are setting up the gifts for the families that have requested help this holiday season. It was an amazing sight to see.
They are sorting the gifts and putting them in order for the families. They number the families and try to give some of the gifts that each family requests. Of course, that isn't always possible. And still many families still have no gifts attached to their number.
So if you still feel like doing something nice for someone, take another gift (or a re-gift) into the Salvation Army. They particularly still need things for older children. The holiday season is certainly the time to give to others and to appreciate all the things we have. I wish you JOY this Holiday season.

The board of Space Coast Ski Club is considering making matching funds available to those who wish to make a donation to the American Red Cross at this Friday's Extravaganza. The club will have a big fish bowl out with signs asking members to donate to the Red Cross, cash or checks. This will be an easy way for the club and its membership to help and give back for the assistance many of us received last year.
