Big Sky offers 3,600 acres and 150+ named runs on three mountains. The longest run is 6 miles from Liberty Bowl to the Mountain Mall and the skiable vertical is 4,350 ft. The average winter temperature is 25 degrees and the average annual snowfall is 400 inches. The sheer magnitude of the area coupled with a state-of-the-art lift system make lift lines virtually non-existent. The Summit is 11,166 ft. and the Mountain Village is at 7,500 feet. The terrain is geared for all levels of skiers and boarders, with about half for advanced and experts and half for beginners and intermediates. A side trip to Yellowstone National Park (through the Roosevelt Entrance to the North) is an incredible adventure and an opportunity not to be missed.
