So where was everyone?
I'd promised to take out John Cox to meet the section at coffee for his first full Sunday ride (he's a regular on the Thursday Club). By 9am the light drizzle had stopped and, with a helpful wind, it didn't seem as cold as the thermometer suggested. We got to Manor Farm and waited. Shane Blower and Gill Stocks arrived direct from home. So we waited some more. At 11.20 we gave up!
Gill and Shane were contemplating returning home from coffee, so John & I decided to grace the Black Horse at Walcote with our presence for Sunday lunch. As in the morning,we didn't need our waterproofs for our return journey.
Forecast for next Sunday looks more spring-like. I don't know if I'll see anyone at Owston as I plan to locate on the "Somerberg" section as usual to see the riders cope with conditions that hopefully will be worse than this year's Paris-Roubaix!

Subject: [SouthLeicsCTC] This Sunday
We appear to be missing a run for this Sunday in the runs-list.
Unless anyone else has got a better idea, I propose Catthorpe and
Grandborough.
