The 8-week road closure has commenced between West Langton and the A6 at Kibworth by the rail bridge and, thanks to a footway over the culvert, now provides a glorious traffic-free route.

The A6 can be a pain, and I often use the footpath from the bridge and cross to New Road to reach Kibworth.
