Does anyone remember hearing the attached English folk song about the Tour de France? It must have been created by "A.Non" after the 1st world war, as it is a parody of "The Rose of York". It was recently performed by John New at the Northampton Folk Club, who kindly supplied me with the lyrics. John hopes to get a recorded version for me, to ensure it is not lost in the mists of time. Just proves once again that us Brits can't trust Johnny Foreigner!
