As discussed yesterday, I have put your posters and flyers in the mail and also attached electronic copies of the Campaign broadsheet, A3 poster and meeting flyers. Please distribute these or make further copies as you require.
Meeting Details for Email Distribution:
Local Works is organising a public meeting in Groby where we will be discussing the Sustainable Communities Bill, how it will work and affect the local sustainability of Leicestershire. This meeting is intended to be an event for all of Leicestershire as Stephen Dorrell MP for Charnwood, will be speaking. Whatever your opinions on Stephen Dorrell, it is crucial for our campaign that this meeting is a big success as we need to encourage him to champion the Sustainable Communities Bill in Parliament. In short we need a big turnout. So I am writing to ask for your help in the following ways:
- please help us publicise this meeting by distributing posters and flyers, emails etc through your network.
- please come along to the public meeting and encourage others too. Although being held in Groby, this meeting is intended for anyone in Leicestershire
- tell other people (your friends, family and colleagues) in your community and the wider area
Let me stress that any help you can give, no matter how small, will be hugely appreciated.
