By way of explanation, as to why we are getting emails from "Sparkenhoe" and replies, when the original email was dated August 1st!
 
There seems to be some sort of default option in the Yahoo! Group to set new folk up with a staus of "Moderated". That means their emails sent to the Group are not posted until the "Owner" gives the posting approval. I assume that had to await Neil's return from holiday!
 
I saw there was a posting awaiting approval, but I wasn't able to access it, or to see who it was from. As it happens, Sean (I think) contacted me directly, and I was able to give him the info - that the 9.45 start time was a "typo".
 
The solution is to check the Yahoo Group membership for any "Moderated" names, and if appropriate (ie not spammers etc), change the staus to "Unmoderated". I've now done that for "Sparkenhoe", so no problems hopefully in the future. I'll check the rest - just noticed Alan Morris is in the same category.
