You think you have problems? I bought my trike a month ago and ride 3-4 times a week. Only a mere 4 miles each, but have gone from an 8 mph pace to 10mph. So while Josh is starting out slow at 15 mph, I'm not even ready for that yet. If I can keep snailing away, I'm sure you will improve quickly.
Good Luck

I know what you are talking about Anna, Sergio and Mike wore me out
on Sunday. They both rode their bike to the ride start, and rode home
when we were done, I just wanted to take a nap.

So this does not happen to me again I can only think of one thing to
do, and that is to start a Fall/Winter weekly ride. Due to my 7 day
a week work schedule I can only ride with a group on Sunday mornings,
so that's when it will be every Sunday morning until its too hot to
ride ( we may skip a couple of times when its too cold to ride as
well). I think I will have to start out slow 15mph average to start
but once we whip everyone into shape we can go a little faster. So
do you think you can make a few rides?

Hello
I have only had my trike for about 3 weeks, and live in the Brandon -
Providence Lakes area. I ride 2 laps of a 2 mile circuit almost
everyday. Not much for most of you, but I'm just starting out. Anyway,
On Sunday the 21st of Sept, at about 9:30AM, someone on a recumbent
bike past me. First I've seen other than myself. He rode past and I
lost sight of him before I could introduce myself. I was just
wondering who this might be and maybe I can get with a group of others
to ride with.

Jose,

I hope you and Sue have a GREAT time!

I rode Cades Cove in August. I don't know if you are aware of the "no
cars" time that the park has... Wednesday and Saturday mornings (until
10 AM) no cars are allowed on the loop drive making it much nicer for
biking. At other times you may spend a good bit of your ride breathing
the exhaust fumes of the slow rolling motor vehicles.

The road was in need of repair when I was there... watch out for the
potholes.

Hey guys,

GREAT Davie Trails Ride! I do wish however that the participants had
followed the rules. This WAS a STOP and SNIFF the FLOWERS ride so why
OH WHY must our members express their individuality by SNIFFING without
STOPPING, STOPPING WITHOUT SNIFFING and worse, NEITHER SNIFFING nor
STOPPING!

To those who came to the ride, THANK YOU. To those who missed it, well,
I'm sure the roses can be found on the trail the next time you join us.
But I won't be scheduling another one for at least two weeks as Sue and
I will be on our bents sniffing the flowers on the Silver Comet Trail
and Cade's Cove next week!!!
