I've been thinking about Kimmie Meissner's performances at Skate America...it
seems to me that her personality and demeanor don't match her programs. It
reminds me of when they tried to convince people that Michelle Kwan was an adult
by dressing her up like Salome. A little forced. Kimmie's programs are trying to
make her seem dramatic, I think, but personally, I believe she'd do better with
simple, melodic music that's light on drama. East of Eden comes to mind,
although obviously it wouldn't have to be that. Something comparable though.

In my opinion, we haven't seen her true style. Maybe she herself doesn't know
what that is yet. On the other hand, maybe she's completely comfortable with her
programs now. What the heck do I know?
