The NY Times has an op-ed this morning about televising high school
sports, the spelling B and things like the young winner of America's
Got Talent. It's interesting to apply this to figure skating which
has always had young competitors... and to note that our interests--
the most rabid fans--have skewed younger and more toward the "unseen"
skater in the last few years. Could be it's not a good thing?
