Description

[ figure skating ] SkateFans @ egroups.com is the new home of the long-established figure skating fan mailing list formerly called Skatefans-L@Udel.edu, which is mentioned in the FAQ of the usenet newsgroup rec.sport.skating.ice.figure.

SkateFans is a list for people who are interested in talking and reading about competitive figure skaters. On this list, people discuss the latest competitions, talk about who is practicing where and skating with whom, plans and actions of the sport's governing bodies, latest topical news reports, and other assorted things related to figure skating, figure skaters and their fans.

The subscriber list is strictly confidential. The only way anyone will know you've subscribed to SkateFans is if you "give" yourself away by posting. If you'd like to read from the archives rather than receiving mail, instructions are available at the list's web site.

Re: Hersh on next seaon's Grand Prix selections
Actually, Hersh says that with only one event, Nagasu has "no shot" at making the GPF. Theoretically, it would be possible for someone to qualify to the GPF
