Opting for caution over machismo, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby left
practice Tuesday with a sore groin. It appears those pained the most
were Penguins fans.
Crosby's soreness is "not a major thing," coach Michel Therrien told
the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Crosby expects to take part in team-building exercises while the
Penguins are at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.
Pain began during Monday's workout, and Crosby says he left the ice to
avoid aggravating the condition. He missed three games last November
with a groin injury, and says this pain was not severe.
