Yep, Mari, I'll let y'all know the minute I hear anything. I'm still
looking for Vancouver details (host hotel and ticket info), but with
all the eyes and ears out there now, somebody will probably
find it long before I do! LOL!
I do have a couple of short updates:
I received a few questions about the SLC reserved seats - the $65 is
per day, and the current plan is to have open seating in a reserved
section (like they did for the VIP seats at Nationals last year), so
we should still be able to sit together without buying the seats in a
block.
A tip for Vancouver WC attendees who are flying into Seattle: Olympia
from GA (who lives in Washington) advises taking the train from
Seattle to Vancouver rather than renting a car - it's said that
customs is infinitely easier and quicker on the train. She said "it
is inexpensive and everyone says that the trip is beautiful and
customs is a lot easier, the agents board the train--no waiting in
long car lines---once you get to Vancouver you can get everywhere you
need to by Skytrain." For those who aren't venturing beyond the
Vancouver area, you might want to consider this option. She adds that
for those who ARE going beyond Vancouver (Whistler, for instance),
you can rent a car when you get to Canada.
