I listened to this game online and it was pretty bad. Shawn had a
fight in the first period with Peat and didn't get much ice time
after that. :(

Lock Monsters Scary at Scope

The Admirals were overpowered by the Lock Monsters' offense as they
fell 9-2 at Scope.

Lowell took a 2-0 lead midway through the first. Krys Kolanos scored
an even strength tally at 7:25. Ryan Steeves doubled the lead with a
power play goal at 12:31.

The Lock Monsters continued to build their lead in the second. David
Gove scored even strength at 3:03 and Kolanos added a power play
tally at 7:16 to give the visitors a 4-0 lead through half of the
game. Nathan Barrett cut the Admirals' deficit to three goals just
under ten minutes later, taking a feed from Steve Munn and putting
the puck past Lowell netminder Vitaly Kolesnik at 16:05.

In the third period, Dustin Byfuglien briefly sparked Norfolk's
offense when he muscled his way past a lone defender and scored
unassisted at the 7:02 mark. But Lowell countered with four more
tallies in a seven and a half minute span for a commanding 9-2
victory.

Corey Crawford finished with 23 saves for Norfolk while Lowell's
Vitaly Kolesnik made 33 stops.

Norfolk was 0-7 on the power play while Lowell was 2-7
