NORFOLK, VA – Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced that right wing
Shawn Thornton has been assigned to the team by their parent club, the
Chicago Blackhawks.
Thornton, 29, has appeared in 10 games with Chicago this season,
recording no points, 16 penalty minutes and a minus-5 rating.
The native of Oshawa, ON, has played in 14 games for Norfolk this
year, posting two goals and five assists for seven points, 43 PIM and
a plus-2 rating.
