Allow Me to Define Victory (w/ updates through the night)

Tue Nov 07, 2006 at 03:07:42 PM PST

I've been watching as much Fox News and CNN as I can stand, and I can tell you this: the expectations game is being played by every GOP analyst/pundit/gasbag.

These people are trying to force Democrats to say that only gaining at least 25-30 seats in the House would be good--that anything less than 25 House seats is a "victory" for Republicans.

Similarly, they're also saying that anything short of taking the Senate outright constitutes victory--that Republicans can declare victory if they only lose 5 seats.  Even some Kossacks have fallen into the trap.

Well, almost every tip jar I display says "tips for victory." So, for the intelligence-challenged in the Republican punditry, allow me to define victory for you:

THIS IS VICTORY:

Your new Speaker of the House:

If she's Speaker by 1 seat, 5 or 10, she's still Speaker.  That's victory. [Update: she's speaker. VICTORY!!!!]

Your new Chair of the Government Reform Committee:

If he's Chair by 1 seat, 5 or 10, he's still Chair.  That's victory.

Your new House Judiciary Committee Chair:

If he's Chair by 1 seat, 5 or 10, he's still Chair.  That's victory.

You know how you can tell it's victory?  I'll tell you: by the shaking legs and urine dripping down the pants of GOP operatives who see those pictures with those titles.

And as for the Senate?  EACH AND ANY of the following constitutes victory:

Your new Senators:

Your new possible Senators:

Let me repeat that: EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE NEW SENATORS IS A VICTORY.

Because Burns (if he loses) won't be able to insult firefighters anymore; because Santorum (who has lost) won't be able to have man-on-dog sex anymore; because Chafee (who has lost) won't be able to keep enabling policies he supposedly doesn't like; because Corker ([Update: he won. Too bad for Ford, who ran a great campaign]) won't be able to screw up as a senator as badly as he did as mayor; because Talent (who has lost) won't be able to rubberstamp Bush's policies anymore; because DeWine (who has lost) won't be able to abet the most corrupt administration and state party in history; because Allen (if he loses) won't be able to be, well, George (insert expletive here) Allen.

All of these are victory.

You want to know what a decisive landslide looks like?  THAT would be this:

Senate Majority Leader

---------------------------------------------------

So don't let them play the expectations game on you.  Understand what victory looks like.  Remember what it looks like.

Because the GOP is going to declare victory no matter what happens--even as they pull as many of their sorry carcasses off the battlefield as they can manage.

Don't let them.  If these shadowy images of glory that you see here tranform into brilliant reality, do the only appropriate thing: Gloat.  Gloat big time.

Because the GOP will be running scared--big time.

[Update: I understand that true victory lies far, far ahead of us. A battle for the presidency looms, the struggle for the heart of the Democratic Party will be ongoing, and we won't go far without taking K-Street money out of elections. But here, I'm talking about Victory in THIS battle fought today. And that's all that matters TODAY.]

LEBANON: An estimated 800,000 people uprooted by attacks, says Lebanese body
26 Jul 2006 15:40:34 GMT
Source: IRIN

BEIRUT, 26 July (IRIN) - An estimated 800,000 people have been affected in Lebanon by the current crisis, with hundreds of thousands forced to leave their homes, according to the Lebanese Higher Relief Council established by the Lebanese government to deal with the crisis.

A spokeswoman for the Council, Mouna Souccarieh, told IRIN on Wednesday that some 100,000 were foreigners who were evacuated, including some Lebanese with dual nationality. Around 150,000 more people, mainly Syrian, Lebanese and other foreigners, crossed the border into Syria since the Israeli attacks began on 12 July, she said.

According to Souccarieh, an estimated 550,000 people have been displaced inside the country of which 106, 780 are staying in government schools and buildings. She said the rest were staying with relatives, or renting houses or paying for rooms in hotels.

Most of the internally displaced are said to be Lebanese, but there are also about 20,000 third country nationals, and some 1,000 displaced Palestinians.

While there is no complete breakdown of the areas in which the internally displaced are living, figures available suggest 32, 465 are in Beirut; 42, 271 in Mount Lebanon; 3,370 in north Lebanon; 24, 151 in southern Lebanon and 4,523 in the eastern Bekaa Valley.

The International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) spokesman in Beirut, Hicham Hassan, told IRIN on Wednesday that many families in the southern cities and towns of Tyre (70 km from Beirut), Bint Jbeil (80 km from Beirut) and Marjeyoun (55 km from Beirut) were still besieged in their houses.

There has been heavy fighting between Israeli and Hizbullah forces in Bint Jbeil, a Hizbullah stronghold close to the Israeli border.

"Some of them haven't seen the sunlight for more than 13 days, and they don't even know what happened to their closest neighbours," he said. "So far we have sent four convoys to Tyre and one to Marjeyoun. That was the first time they saw people from out of town," he added.

Hassan also said these southern towns were suffering from shortages of medical supplies and food. "The convoys we sent distributed some of those supplies and we made quick assessment on the ground to find out what the needs were".

The ICRC in Lebanon is expected to release an evaluation report on the humanitarian situation in the south.

The more I hear of what is going on with the Israeli attacks on its neighbors, the more it looks like they are just doing what we want, not what is good for them.  Although, I suppose doing what we want is good for them in many respects.

Apparently we are supplying all the weapons - - doubtlessly bought by we the taxpayers of the USA.

It is beginning to look like, having bankrupted us and destroyed our military, Bush has a bad case of "Let's you and him fight."

Why on earth is Israel going along with that?  And why on earth are we, apparently purposefully, sinking deeper and deeper in trouble in the Middle East.

We had a good chance to take out the Taliban.  We muffed it.

We should have left the Iraqis under Saddam.  It is in worse shape now than under him.  Let's terminate his trial and put him back in power.  He will at least know who the players are.

My friends used to get irked at me because I was 150% for Israel.  They could do no wrong.   (I still think Golda Meir was wonderful.)

Well, that 150% has been busily going down.  When former terrorists head up the country we need to take a closer look at what is going on there.

Now they have been living under the rule of a man who has been in a coma since around the first of the year.  Where is the accountability?  Why is he not being replaced?

There are lots of rotten apples laying on the ground for the picking or kicking.

Klein zeroes in on topics crucial to voters
Published November 19, 2005

Sun Sentinel, by Anthony Mann

During an 18-minute speech this week, congressional candidate Ron Klein showed a sharper edge as he focused on a handful of issues that could resonate with voters.

His issues reflect average peoples' priorities: gasoline prices and the continuing dependence on imported oil; the electric system, including pricing and the reliability of the grid in hurricane-prone Florida; and the high cost of insurance.

He's hoping such everyday concerns help him unseat U.S. Rep. Clay Shaw, R-Fort Lauderdale. The Boca Raton state senator said his congressional bid is considered one of the three top races in the country.

Klein's been into insurance for years, even before it became the high-profile topic it is in the wake of two years of hurricanes.

Klein has long called for a national catastrophic insurance fund, which would offer cheaper reinsurance to companies. Reinsurance is coverage that insurance companies buy to cover part of their risk.

As Klein was raising the issue again before the Democratic Professionals Forum in West Palm Beach, a Shaw press release came out reporting that he and U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite, R-Brookville, were introducing legislation to establish a federal reinsurance catastrophic fund.

In many ways the 100 or so who gathered to hear Klein at lunch were as interesting as the candidate.

Among them was Palm Beach County Schools Superintendent Art Johnson. Asked if he supports Klein, Johnson said, "I'm a Democrat and he's a Democrat," then added that he tries in his professional life to work with everyone, regardless of party. When pressed, he said he'd never before been to a Democratic Professionals Forum gathering, and the only reason he attended was because of Klein.

Also present was former Palm Beach Gardens Councilwoman Annie Marie Delgado. Though a Republican, Delgado said she's always had a great relationship with Klein.

Spiritual Literacy in Wartime
Spiritual Practices for Our Troubled Times
by Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat

Let's face it. We're living in wartime. And it may always be this way. A new reality hangs like a dark cloud over every breath we take. It lingers in our consciousness like a bad dream. In our book Spiritual Literacy, we asked the question: "How can we live a spiritual life every day?" Today we need spiritually literate ways to live in wartime.

When we first wrote those words in January 2003, the news reports were full of talk of the road to war in Iraq. We noted one-quarter of the countries of the world 53 out of 193 had struggled with armed conflict in 2002. Today Iraq is being consumed by the violence of the insurgency, the American occupation, and civil war. In the Middle East, Israel is bombing Lebanon back 20 years or more, Hezbollah is sending missiles deep into Israel, and conflict continues in the Gaza Strip. Children are being traumatized in their homes, and again, we ask, what kind of a world will our children inherit?

Spiritual Literacy in Wartime, which was offered as an e-course from 2003 - 2005, contained readings and spiritual practices for this time of heightened separation. We have now posted all those pieces to SpiritualityandPractice.com. We encourage you to look through the index for brief descriptions and links to features on One World, Empathy Practices, Facing Fear, Talking to Children about War, Lamentation, Reflections on Revenge, Reverence for Life, and more.

Summertime and Living Takes Practice

http://www.spiritualityandpractice.com/images/photos/summerboyhome.jpgThere is something about the changed pace of our lives in the summer that makes it a little easier to dedicate time to spiritual practices. To encourage you, we have designed a month's worth of activities. We've looked for ideas from the world's wisdom traditions as well as in books we've read.

Learning to be Content

http://www.spiritualityandpractice.com/images/photos/contenthome.jpgOur consumer culture is designed to make us always want something more, better, or different. But religious leaders have long advised just the opposite. Here are three ways to learn contentment: Want what you have. Don't make comparisons. Accept your imperfections and the "lacks" in your life.

Cheerleading Israel does not an American foreign policy make

Put away your straw men. We won't hash out some sort of moral equivalence between Israel and Hezbollah, nor endlessly chew over what a "proportionate response" to Hezbollah might be.

The goal here is merely to start thinking about the idea that whatever Israel accomplishes in Lebanon (and we still do not know the actual aim), it might not be completely and unquestionably in the United States' best interests.

A selfishly American foreign policy need not stand in opposition to Israeli aims. It would simply recognize that the United States might, on occasion, need to look to its interests and merely be indifferent to how securing those interests might impact Israel.

For evidence that the Bush administration is reluctant to do this, look no further than Washington's oddly delayed"if not criminal"one-Mississippi, two-Mississippi, three-Mississippi effort to get American citizens out from underneath Israeli airstrikes. Sweden, using the new superpower assets of cell phone text messaging and chartered cruise ships, managed to get 5,000 Swedes out of Lebanon before the U.S. even had a plan to evacuate its citizens. Sweden did this without the benefit of an embassy in Beirut.

By contrast, it took nine days to get the Marines ashore to rescue Americans.

Days into the fighting the Bush administration seemed reluctant to embarrass the Israelis by suggesting, let alone confirming, that Israel's attacks against Hezbollah just might produce threats to the civilian population in Lebanon. If someone wants to argue that that reluctance was merely gross incompetence by the State Department, your call for Condi Rice's resignation needs to be part of that particular appeal to be considered serious.

But giving Israel the "atta-boy" treatment creates other serious problems for legitimate American interests. Already Turkey is explicitly citing Israel's unrestrained move into Lebanon as a precedent to move into Kurdistan. Turkey's Hezbollah is the Kurdish Workers Party (PPK) and Turkish forces have had running gun battles with their long-time foe in recent weeks.

The Turks are basically demanding that U.S. forces take out the Kurdish guerillas or the Turks will. But Kurdistan is the one corner of Iraq that is relatively peaceful and shows signs of one day becoming a functioning society that respects the rule of law, a rarity for the region. Even though the PPK does not enjoy widespread popular support among Iraqi Kurds, U.S. moves against it might complicate U.S. aims for Iraq.

The Kurdish angle alone, then, is solid footing upon which to craft a U.S. policy that is something other than, "Whatever Israel wants." It is also worth noting that nascent links between Kurdistan and Israel did not stand in the way of Israel doing what it thought it had to do to secure its aims. But there is more.

Part of Britain's reluctance to go as far as the U.S. in backing Israel without reservation no doubt stems from the placement of 7,000 British troops in Shiite-dominated southern Iraq. Were there to be some sort of sympathetic Shiite response to Hezbollah's fight against Israel, the area around Basra would be one of the first places in the region you'd look for it.

Sure enough, the past few days have seen clashes between the Mahdi army of Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and British forces. The British foreign ministry has strenuously tried to beat back any linkage between the two conflicts, but has been tripped up by the issue of Iranian involvement in both.

As cable news analysts and The Weekly Standard never tire of pointing out, Iran is up to its eyeballs in Hezbollah. And the British have cited Iranian fingerprints in aiding Shiite militants in Iraq. The British press then put two and two together and deduced that Iran is calling the shots in both cases. "No" came the answer from the Blair government, an odd denial that nonetheless points exactly at a central question of this burgeoning conflict.

The Wall Street Journal editorial page almost gets the question right, but lets its obsession with removing the mullahs from power in Tehran blind it to the best U.S. response. The paper correctly sees the regional strategic implications of the fight in Lebanon, but assumes it is "Iran's first strike" in a bid to secure nuclear capability for itself. Consequently, the Journal prescribes the wrong solution, a free hand for Israel against Hezbollah:

The question going forward is whether the Bush Administration will acknowledge this Lebanon conflict as the strategic threat it is and fight back accordingly. That means at a minimum allowing our ally in the region, Israel, the time and diplomatic support to deal Iran's Hezbollah proxies a heavy blow.

But what if Iran has decided to cash its Hezbollah chips? What if it is counting on an all-out Israeli effort to destroy those elements? There are at least two very good reasons why Iran would do this: One, the Shiite population and militias in Iraq offer a better, improved opportunity to spread mayhem not against a U.S. ally like Israel, but against the U.S. itself. If Iran is truly Terror, Inc., think of it as closing down one aging if profitable product line while introducing the next big thing.

And second, the Israeli operation in Lebanon may create more terrorists than it destroys, or at least create opinion in the Muslim world more useful to Iran strategically than an ongoing low-level conflict along Israel's border. There is certainly historical precedent for a Hezbollah-Israeli clash in Lebanon inspiring Muslim terrorists the world over.

Back in April 1996 Israeli artillery hit a U.N. compound in Qana crowded with Lebanese refugees;106 people were killed. Israel said it was trying to hit a nearby Hezbollah mortar site and mistakenly used old maps; a U.N. investigation found the attack was "unlikely" to be completely in error. Take your pick, but that is what happens in war fought among civilians"murderous mistakes. By August of that year Osama bin Laden cited "the massacre of Qana" prominently in his first fatwa against the U.S government.

The current round of fighting is certainly grim, horrifying even, for the civilian population, but there has been no singular Qana-like incident. Yet.

We are left then with two distinct areas where U.S. interests might diverge with those of Israel. First, it makes U.S. goals in Iraq harder to achieve. Second, it may give Iran something more valuable than a guerilla force in Lebanon while increasing the total population of persons motivated to do harm to do Americans and American interests.

These things are not certain to transpire and may, in any event, be considered second-tier concerns when weighed against the chance to take out Hezbollah as a military force. Fair enough. But it is past time to put down the pom-poms and think hard about what comes next.

THE ONE WORLD ORDER: PROGRAMMING THE MASSES
Date: Mon, 10 Jul 2006 00:25:21 -0400 (EDT)
Deanna Spingola July 8, 2006 NewsWithViews.com http://www.newswithviews.com/Spingola/deanna45.htm “To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family tradition, national patriotism, and religious dogmas.” “We have swallowed all manner of poisonous certainties fed us by our parents, our Sunday and day school teachers, our politicians, our priests....The reinterpretation and eventual eradication of the concept of right and wrong which has been the basis of child training, the substitution of intelligent and rational thinking for faith in the certainties of old people, these are the belated objectives ...for charting the changes in human behavior.” Brock Chisholm, 1959 Humanist of the Year and former head of World Health Organization, in the February 1946 issue of Psychiatry. The manipulating maneuvers of The Order of Skull and Bones (hereafter called The Order) have focused on specifically
changing society with an eye towards the globalist goal of a One World Order. In order to drastically alter civilization, members of The Order infiltrate society’s institutions and use their influence, backed by the vast wealth of the international bankers, to gain absolute control. The societal elements as defined by Antony C. Sutton in An Introduction to the Order of Skull & Bones: Education " how the population of the future will behave. Money " the means of holding wealth and exchanging goods. Law " the authority to enforce the will of the state, a world law and a world court is needed for a world state. Politics " the direction of the state. Economy " the creation of wealth. History " what people believe happened in the past. Psychology " the means of controlling how people think. Philanthropy " so that the people think well of the controllers. Medicine " the power over health, life and death. Religion " people’s spiritual beliefs, the spur to action for many. Media " what people know and learn about current events. Continuity " the power to appoint who follows in your footsteps.[1] I will briefly address, in this and forthcoming articles in this current series, each of these fundamental facets of society and how they have been controlled in order to devastate the American Republic and enslave every average American in the bonds of satanic globalism. Education: Real education, as opposed to brainwashing, should be a lifelong personal pursuit rather than a state scheduled mass indoctrination limited to just what the state wants you to know or believe in order to fulfill some stealthily crafted agenda for the dismal existence of the masses. Ideally, people, as they are exposed to a growing body of information and technology, should have the opportunity to exercise their inherent abilities in order to expand their
understanding. At birth, our minds are empty vessels waiting to be stimulated. We adapt to what we absorb. Perceptions about the world, about ourselves and others are developed primarily by our parents and then by our teachers, our relatives, friends, politicians and the media. Discrimination and wisdom increase with age " we must choose exactly what we wish to imbibe: facts which educate or fiction that merely entertains. Most entertainment leaves us ignorant and vulnerable to misinformation and deceptive propaganda. A dumbed-down, non reading adult society is much easier to influence and control than an alert, well educated principled population who have been schooled in history, classical literature, a foreign language, grammar, and have an understanding of their moral civic responsibilities. Education should inspire us how to think, not what to think " we have not learned if we merely regurgitate information on command. Our education
should motivate us to scrutinize data, evalua! te evidence, make comparisons and make appropriate application. A principled population, not seeking government entitlements, would also demand responsible, principled leaders. Independent personal study after high school or college, beyond readily accessible information, requires time and is not effortlessly available to overtaxed individuals attempting to keep their heads above water in an economically depressed society. Yes, despite official contradictory claims, we are not merely depressed but bankrupt. Obedience trained students read specific books, designed to produce globalist convictions, introduce faith shattering alternative beliefs and create distrust of traditionalism, but rarely read anything not required. Many graduates never open a book after they leave school. They are satisfied to read, if they are able, the newspaper headlines, People magazine or catch a few “news” shows on
television. After all, why bother to read if one can tune into some familiar pleasant personality disseminating the “news”? People who do not read have no advantage over those who cannot read. Thus, ignorance, definitely not bliss but rather intellectually lethal, is unfortunately ubiquitous. Current classrooms, as well as life in general, are chaotic. Reasonable discipline and mutual respect are absent. Moral relativism has replaced the moral compass of our Judeo-Christian foundation. Anything related to that foundation has been legally altered and unfortunately legalization gives credibility to decadence. Judges, who have falsely sworn to protect and abide by the Constitution, have verbally manipulated that foundational document into oblivion. They are globalists, sympathizers, or fellow travelers who trade principles for money, power or “just to get along.” It is not coincidental! The evidence surrounds us: our drugged disrespectful
children cannot read, communicate without repetitive language laziness, write intelligibly, calculate numbers without a calculator or spell without a spell checker. It does not take a genius to acknowledge that there is something horribly amiss with our children. A brief comparison with previous generations provides justific! ation for the obvious " the onslaught against our youth carried out by the government’s educational system is deviously deliberate. A spurious curriculum has been designed to inculcate America’s children to function as the submissive workers of the One World Order, compliments of the taxpayers. Chester M. Pierce, Harvard University psychiatrist said the following at the 1973 International Education Seminar, as quoted in Educating For The New World Order (June 1991),[2] an excellent book by Beverly K. Eakman: “Every child in America who enters school with an allegiance toward our elected officials, toward our
founding fathers, toward our institutions, toward the preservation of this form of government... all of this proves the children are sick, because the truly well individual is one who has rejected all of those things and is what I would call the true international child of the future.”[3] There is certainly not a dearth of books that express views about America’s dismal educational problems as well as the other associated problems that affront our children. Another excellent, well researched and documented book is the deliberate dumbing down of america (September 1999) by educational whistle-blower Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt. It remains Barnes and Noble’s #1 bestseller in their History of Education category. Iserbyt is a former school board director in Camden, Maine and was co-founder and research analyst of Guardians of Education for Maine (GEM) from 1978 to 2000. During the first Reagan administration Iserbyt was the Senior Policy
Advisor working in the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI). She was instrumental in revealing a “major technology initiative which would control curriculum in America's classrooms.[4] A huge educational modification gradually occurred " America went from an academic education (1880"1960) to a values education (1960"1980) to a workforce training “education” (1980"2000). In Iserbyt’s book “the case is made that the values education period was critical to the transformation of education. It succeeded in persuading (brainwashing? duping?) Americans into accepting the belief that values were transient, flexible and situational"subject to the evolution of human society. Brave new values were integrated into curricula and instruction. The mind of the average American became ‘trained’ (conditioned) to accept the idea that education exists solely for the purpose of getting a
good paying job in the global workforce economy.”[5] This isn’t just about your own children. Everyone should thoroughly read her comprehensive book as well as the other books available on this important issue. See a list below. The federal government should not be dictating curriculum. Local property taxes pay for schools but they have been seduced into accepting additional funds which always include federal regulations, policies and programs including Bush’s “No Child Left Behind.” This is nothing but a disguised UNESCO school to work program, a detriment to America’s children, her greatest resource. Following is a much abbreviated timeline from Iserbyt’s must read book revealing tax-exempt financial backing and government compliance in the collapse of America’s educational system: 1902 The General Education Board (GEB) was incorporated by an act of the United States Congress. Approved January 12, 1902, the General Education Board was endowed by Mr. John D. Rockefeller, Sr., for the purpose of establishing an educational laboratory to experiment with early innovations in education.[6] 1905 The Intercollegiate Socialist Society (ISS) was founded in New York City by Upton Sinclair, Jack London, Clarence Darrow and others. Its permanent headquarters were established at the Rand School of Social Studies in 1908 and ISS became the League for Industrial Democracy (LID) in 1921. John Dewey became president of the League for Industrial Democracy in 1939. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching was founded.[7] 1906 National Education Association (NEA) became a federally chartered association for teachers under the authority of H.R. 10501.[8] 1908 Italian educator, the late Maria Montessori (1870"1952), developed a method of teaching"relying on guidance and training of senses rather than more rigid control of children’s
activities"which would be very influential throughout the rest of the century. The Montessori Method was published in 1912 and much of Montessori’s work was printed by the Theosophical Publishing House. Elizabeth Clare Prophet, the cultic head of the Church Universal and Triumphant, founded a group called Montessori International, and previous U.N. Deputy Secretary-General Robert Muller, the celebrated author of the New Age World Core Curriculum, claimed that the Montessori Method was one of the educational programs which would greatly benefit global children for the New Age.[9] 1913 Frederick T. Gates, director of charity for the Rockefeller foundation, set up the Southern Education Board (SEB), which was later incorporated into the General Education Board (GEB), setting in motion “the deliberate dumbing down of America.” Gates wrote The Country School of Tomorrow: Occasional Papers No. 1 (General Education Board: New York, 1913)[10] 1918 In the January 13, 1918 issue of New York World William Boyce Thompson, Federal Reserve Bank director and founding member of the Council on Foreign Relations applauded Russia for their “sweeping world changes.” Carnegie and Rockefeller Foundations planned the demise of traditional academic education. Rockefeller’s focus would be national education; Carnegie would be in charge of international education.[11] 1919 “The Institute of International Education (IIE) was founded through a grant from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. The Institute’s purpose was to operate a student exchange program. The U.S.-Soviet Education Agreements were negotiated by the Carnegie Endowment’s parent organization, the Carnegie Corporation, fostering exchanges of curriculum, pedagogy and materials as well as students.” “The Progressive Education Association (P.E.A.) was founded and organized by John Dewey, even
though he would not become a member in its early years. P.E.A.’s goals and aims were projected for the last half of this century at a board meeting held November 15"17, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois.”[12] 1921 The league for Industrial Democracy changed its name from the Intercollegiate Socialist Society (ISS) and stated its purpose as: “Education for a new social order based on production and not for profit” (“A Chronology of Education,” Dorothy Dawson, 1978). Harold Rugg, writer of social studies textbook series entitled The Frontier Thinkers (1921) published by the Progressive Education Association became president of the National Association of Directors of Education Research which would later become known as the American Educational Research Association. “The Council on Foreign Relations was established through the efforts of Col. Edwin Mandell House. He was the initiator of the effort to establish this American branch
of the English Royal Institute of International Affairs.” … “The late Professor Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University described the CFR as “a front for J.P. Morgan and Company in association with the very small American Round Table Group.”[13] 1922 On December 15 the Council on Foreign Relations endorsed world government.[14] 1925 The International Bureau of Education, formerly known as The Institute Jean-Jacques Rousseau, was established with a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation. The Bureau became part of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).[15] The following books, among many others, were published urging a New World Order facilitated, in large part, by the American educational system: “Toward Soviet America” by William Z. Foster, Head of the Communist Party USA, Foster indicates that a National Department of Education would be one of the means used to develop a new socialist
society in the U.S.[16] “The New World Order” by F. S. Marvin, describing the League of Nations as the first attempt at a New World Order. Marvin says, “Nationality must rank below the claims of mankind as a whole.”[17] “Dare the School Build a New Social Order?” by educator-author George Counts who asserts that “the teachers should deliberately reach for power and then make the most of their conquest” in order to “influence the social attitudes, ideals and behavior of the coming generation. The growth of science and technology has carried us into a new age where ignorance must be replaced by knowledge, competition by cooperation, and trust in Providence by careful planning and private capitalism by some form of social economy.”[18] “Humanist Manifesto” (1933) co-author John Dewey, the noted philosopher and educator, calls for a synthesizing of all religions and “a socialized and cooperative economic order.”
Co-signer C. F. Potter said in 1930, “Education is thus a most powerful ally of humanism, and every American public school is a school of humanism. What can the theistic Sunday schools, meeting for an hour once a week; teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?”[19] “The Teacher and World Government” (1946) written by former editor of the “NEA Journal” (National Education Association) Joy Elmer Morgan. He says: “In the struggle to establish an adequate world government, the teacher can do much to prepare the hearts and minds of children for global understanding and cooperation. At the very heart of all the agencies which will assure the coming of world government must stand the school, the teacher, and the organized profession.”[20] “In 1940, teachers were asked what they regarded as the three major problems in American schools. They identified the
three major problems as: Littering, noise, and chewing gum. Teachers last year were asked what the three major problems in American schools were, and they defined them as: Rape, assault, and suicide.” William Bennett (1993)[21] Click here for part -----> 1, 2, 3, 4, Suggested Books: 1. Happy Independence Night

When everyone goes to those places where decisions are made
It begins late at night and is resolved by the time one wakes up
One wakes up with an epiphany and the question becomes clear and
simple
Happy independence night

Why are we killing our young people by sending off to a foreign
country?
How do you do it, for what reasons?
Who do you call on to support your goal?
And what if no one supports your goal?

THE GOAL
To guarantee an election, since the last one was a selection process
Selected without majority support
History proves that people, the perceived innocent have to die
To convince the majority to come to their aid and exact a revenge.

So if no one supports your goal of going to war to get elected
finally
Did the Bush administration, delay information,
until a planning group decided how to go to war,
and thereby guarantee (to a greater extent) a final election.

First of all you don't act directly, you use a physically imperfect
And a shadowy figure to head the endeavor
Vice President Cheney would be that person
And he would need someone to keep him far enough removed

Former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich would be perfect
With a standing record at convincing a so called
"moral majority" to destroy a standing president
his loyalty to Cheney would not be questioned

The next step would be to replace intelligence professionals
With Republican political operatives, and an Israeli
Watchdog to make sure their future Republican campaign funding
was put to a good use, support Israeli interest

The CIA is not broken, just infiltrated with Republican political
operatives
The FBI is not broken, just infiltrated with Republican political
operative

Replace FBI, and CIA professional intelligence professionals
Either by coercion, intimidation, or to just ask them to step aside
Either by retirement, or resignation
for the Republican party or even the president.

The CIA is not broken, just infiltrated with Republican political
operatives
The FBI is not broken, just infiltrated with Republican political
operative

Once the political operatives are in place
Delay, spin, or outright lie on the intelligence coming in
To act as a sieve to hold the truth at bay and to allow lies
to be manufactured by their lie factory

The CIA is not broken, just infiltrated with Republican political
operatives
The FBI is not broken, just infiltrated with Republican political
operative

Finance the perpetrators of 911 by sending them $43 Million
On the pretext that they will use it to destroy Afghan heroine poppy
fields
That the U. N. has previously stated that those poppy fields are
already eliminated
Sending the $43 Million to the Taliban and henceforth to Al-Qaeda

THE INSURANCE
Once the war is started, hire businesses that will funnel
at least some of their excess profit from the war
To your campaign for election
Such as Bechtel, Boeing, Halliburton, Carlyle Group, and others

Make sure that there is a political connection to both
George Shultz to Bechtel
Dick Cheney to Halliburton
Daddy Bush to the Carlyle Group

Since these are loyalists to the Republican Party
Understand that the Republican party has now been Enronized
To be Enronized means that you will destroy the company
to advance yourself monetarily

to be Enronized is to
have lots of money, have no morals,
have no soul, lying to advance the goal is normal,
and to have no ethics

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to think that Prosperity and Peace suck

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
That no children will be left behind

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to be believe that the motivation for
records being either lost, locked up,
or have been destroyed
are for innocent reasons

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to admit that your motivation is to gain more immoral profits
Be it by tax cuts for the rich, or more Corporate welfare
Or more big business contracts for an unjust war

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to condone the New American Century and its authors,
Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Perle, who were plotting war on Iraq long
before 9/11,
They just needed someone in the Presidents office
they could manipulate to their agenda
of making money by profiteering on any war,
and controlling the oil fields of the Middle East

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to condone the many unrepentant Iran-Contra figures
that have found refuge in the Bush administration
(Otto Reich, Elliott Abrams, John Negroponte John Poindexter.
Woolsley )

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to understand that Republicans prosecute lying about "lewinskis"

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to understand that Democrats will get to prosecute lying about
Nuclear WMDs,

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to condone the planning,
Using our own tax dollars for financing, and
allowing the 911 attack with the sacrificial death of 3,000 Americans

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
You condone the prosecution of the Bush administration for war
crimes, and prisoner abuse,

To vote for Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to condone using the illegal Iraq-contra like Near East & South
Asia Affairs office,
That was filled with loyal at any sacrifice Republican political
operatives

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to condone the replacement of intelligence professionals with low
class Republican political operatives

To vote Republican, to vote for Bush
Is to believe that if Martha Stewart goes to jail for insider
trading....
and Ken Lay goes to jail for insider trading....
Bush should not go to jail for insider trading on Harken Oil

The criminals are the
George Shultz's, Dick Cheney's, Newt Gingrich's,
Condoleeza Rice's, Rumsfelds, and those Supreme Court Judges that
acted as operatives for the
Neo-Conmunists that perpetuated this coup

A firing squad would be to kind

Let the prosecution begin

Pres. Bush is guilty for believing his father,
that like Abraham, sacrificed his son like a lamb
for the greater GODmoney

And the final lie
"I will change, re-elect me and things will change and be peaceful
I will turn from being an evil tyrant lurking the shadows of war
And into the light of being the servant of the people
And return to PEACE & PROSPERITY"

4 more wars.4 more wars.
4 more wars.4 more wars.
Vote Republican, vote for George W. Bush
Vote against your conscience

And remember, when everyone goes to those places where decisions are
made
It begins late at night and the problem is resolved by the time one
wakes up
One wakes up with an epiphany and the question becomes clear and
simple...
Happy independence night
