2nd ANNUAL HIGHLINE BADMINTON CLUB SUMMER TEAM DOUBLES TOURNAMENT

When: Saturday, July 24, 11 am-5 pm

Where: North SeaTac Community Center, 24th Ave. S. and S. 138th St.

Cost: $66 per team of at least six players, including at least two
women. Entry fee covers gym rental, shuttles, prizes and dinner at
Chinese buffet restaurant in Burien.

Deadline: Entry is limited to the first six teams signing up.
Please send the name of the team captain and a check for $66 made out
to Steve Ellis to Steve Ellis, 1754 Boyer Ave. E., Seattle WA 98112-
3021.

Format: Six-team round robin. Each team match will consist of two
doubles matches. No team member can play more than four matches. No
team member can be paired with the same partner more than once.
Therefore, teams will be treated as doubles only with no
consideration for men, women or mixed. Any combination is allowed as
long as the same two partners never play together more than once.

Before beginning a match, the team captains will conduct a coin toss
with the winner determining whether they will name their first
doubles team before or after the other team names their first doubles
team. The team going second will then name its first and second
doubles teams.

Teams will be awarded three points for each 2-0 match victory, two
points for each 2-1 match victory and one point for each 2-1 match
loss.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the team with the best uniforms.
