Re: Junior Championships

Hi Seattle Badminton Lovers,

Sorry for the delay. But I really want to thank Doris and Nino for co-chairing
this year's junior tournament. They are first timers as tournament directors,
but they act like Pros. Nino ran the whole tournament from start to finish, he
even ate lunch at the desk. Medals had been my nightmare of junior tournaments
as we combined events but gave medals according to the age groups they signed up
for - it can be a real mess. Oh, Nino smoothly distribute them all on the day
of the tournament and all kids went home happily with their reward of the day:)>
Doris got the hardest jobs of all - making the draw, finding partners for the
players and calming parents down. Believe me or not, we changed the draw over a
dozen times. We even changed it for Vicky and Kendrick the morning of the
tournament. Good Jobs, both of you! Hope to see you again next year.

- Katherine for WSBA
