There're 125 entries for this year's tournament, the biggest draw in
recent years. The weather did cooperate, so the players from East of
the mountain can join us, it was great to enjoy the sunshine at after
the tournament on Sunday.

The mixed, Men's Singles and Doubles all have over 30 plus entries
which made Saturday a long day, the tournament did run on schedule
despite losing 1 court on Saturday evening.

It's another tournament that we see the strong playing of the younger
players. The young Sandy and Steven were able to beat the veteran
pair of Ufilya and Geoff in 3 games, it's Ufilya first tournament
after over 1 year's injury recovery, she'll definitely be stronger the
next time, welcome back, Ufilya. Despite the cramp on the 3rd game
and thanks to Tao's sportsmanship, Sisavat (aka Long) was able to win
the 3rd game 23-21 in the quarter final and still had enough energy to
win the semi final match against Curtis.

The not as young Shu and Jaikannan proved to be the surprise pair of
the tournament, they were able to get into the final with 3 straight
match all in 3 games.

The Mixed final is almost like practice match between Ying-Fang/Long
and Masako/Garrett, Ying-Fang and Long proved to be stronger pair and
won in 2 games.

Young Sandy played tough when she had to trailing the 3rd game 15-18
and came back and won against Ying-Fang with score of 22 -20.

Paz proved again he's the best singles player in the state to win the
Men's Singles title 2 years in a row.

Masako and Ying-Fang took the Women's Doubles title against scratch
pair Sandy and Yi-Ting.

Paz won the 2nd event by teaming up with Toru in Men's doubles, they
did not lose a single game in the whole tournament.

Thanks for everyone that helped out the tournament, it's great to work
with everyone to make the tournament successful. Hopefully, I did not
miss anyone.
