The games happened last Friday at Jefferson Community Centre and
on Saturday at High Point Community Center. I have the honor of
umpiring a few of the games. According to the veterans, there are a lot
more players this year than last. Many thanks to Brooke Lowry's
advertising for the event. The players range from 50+ to 75+. I used to
run junior tournaments when parents are coaching their kids. It is the
opposite here. Ping was coaching her mom Yee. Derek Adachi and
wife were cheering for father Sei Adachi. I am extremely impressed by
the warmth and spirits.
