Washington State was very well represented at the Oregon Open
tournament held at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland yesterday.
Rob, Carla, Ying-Fang, Greg, Renly, Ronald, Kevin, Kat, Curtis, Ernest,
Sing and myself were there. Curtis won the Open Men's Singles;
Kevin/Ronald Open Men's Doubles; Greg/Ying-Fang Open Mixed and
Rob/Carla 40+ Mixed.

The Multnomah Athletic Club was very nice. I did not have the chance to
go around the whole club, but is very similar to our Pro Club (Pro Club is
of course bigger). We played on 6 courts and 2 "final" courts. The
tournament was very much on schedule. The last match was played at
around 8:00pm? Good job, Ralph! Special thanks also go to Robert Chan
who took a few of us to this wonderful Chinese Seafood restaurant, which
is owned by an "IRON CHEF". Yummy......

Thanks ODBA for hosting the tournament. It was great! The prizes are
excellent - $$$$$ and beautiful picture frames. I got 2 frames and I like
them.
