Last night recap; Everett Men's tournament Sep. 26   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #108 of 509 |
We had a great turnout at the last night at the Northwest Center. I
counted almost sixty people there. Of course with that many we didn't
get to play a lot of badminton on only four courts, but there was a
lot of great food and drink. The alcoholic beverages were the first
to run out which tells you what a hard-partying crowd was on hand.

Marty and the basketball players are meeting with the Monorail people
to see if there is any chance we could continue to use the gym until
it's torn down. Perhaps it's a long shot but if anything comes out of
it we'll announce it here first.

I was handed a flyer for a Men's tournament in Everett sponsored by
the "Everett, US - Indonesia Rukun Tamang Association" for Sep. 26.
Entry forms are due on the 19th. Email Rolan70@... for
details.

It's mentioned on the form that there is badminton every Sunday from
9-1:30 at the Forest Park Gym, 4132 Federal Ave, in Everett so we'll
add that to the WSBA page soon.

Highline reopens Monday, September 13, and will have sessions Monday
and Thursday nights from 7-10. For details and other places to play
see the WSBA page, http://www.northwestbadminton.org/washington.htm.
