Here's the layout of the trk. Small Block Chevy 427 making 750HP on Alcohol. Powerglide with TB, SW Racecars backhalf ladder bar frame with 9" Narrowed Ford(Strange)rearend with 4:88 gears, M/T 32X14X15 tires, Biondo Mega200 Delay Box, Linelock, Electric Shifter, Autometer Gauges. The truck has made 27 passes down a 1/8 mile track with the last pass being made in May 2008. I moved to Louisiana in July and hadn't had a chance to race since moving. I decided to make a little trip to the local racetrack (Evadale Raceway) on the 10th of January to make a couple passes. I was hesistant at first since the truck hadn't been down the 1/4 mile yet. I wasn't sure how the truck would handle at a higher speed but the truck did really well. She went straight down the track without any vibration,etc... She didn't quite goes as fast as I wanted to but she did go fast. I run a 10.80 and know the truck will go faster. I plan on swapping out the tires for some 30" tall tires making a couple passes before I buy a lower gear set. I believe that I can go to a 5:13 or 5:32 gear ratio since I'm turning 6700 rpms at the end of the 1/4 mile with a shift point of 7200 rpms.
