Giuseppi with the help of Lord Faelen was able to compete in the soft boffer
class. We were able to borrow a shield and sword from one of the
contestants. We also were able to get a temporary gorget made for Giuseppi.
He went 1 for 3 in the competition and tragically died twice to end his
competition. He realized that competition is a lot more work than it looks
like. Of course, I heard all the stories on the trip home on how he could
have triumphed, but overall he did really good in the competition for his
first time out. He remembered a lot of things taught to him in the school
and had overall from what I saw really good technique with sword and board
just like he was taught by his headmaster. Kudos to John.
Yours in the Faith,
Brother Thomas

Hi!
Well the coronation of Atenveldt's New crown went well.
Mama Shelly and I got the Serviente del Sol (servant of the sun) and
Brother Thomas' son Gio entered the youth tourney on Sunday. He did
well for his first tourney. Congrats Gio!!!
(I'll let the proud papa describe the exploits of his son)
I'm looking for the pics for Sunday, but Dave Merrill sent me pics
for Saturday. (Thanks Dave)
