Their Excellencies Gunnar and Saeunn, Baron and Baroness of Ered Sul,
Wardens of the Northern Marches and Defenders of all things Wooly, do
cordially invite one and all to enjoy the cool winds and shady pines
in the Northern borders of our bounteous Kingdom at Highland War XII:
Gnome Man's Land.

Join the Gnomes as they fight to thwart the invasion of the Trolls
into our sovereign lands! The offensive will take place at the Fort
Tuthill Fairgrounds, Posse Arena, in the same location as last year.
There will be Hardsuit, Rapier and Archery Scenarios along with fine
displays from our Kingdom's youth fighters. (Return of the light
saber tournament via Lord Faelan) Sir Jason of Antioch once again
beckons all to the third annual Gladiator Tournament! In addition,
the Queen's Champion Equestrian Tourney will bring much competition
to our fair lands. There will be Arts and Sciences classes for youth
and adults, including the traditional brewer's competition and for
the first time ever there will be a Gnome Hat Competition which will
be presided over by his Gnomulency Gunnar. Back by popular demand!:
Drumming and Dancing at the Haffla will climax the event. (In
Merchants' Row on Saturday evening). Merchants, you ask! Why yes!
There are 17 merchants (including a food merchant)lined up to help
exercise the enconomy and lighten your purses!

Directions to Fort Tuthill Fairgrounds, Posse Arena:
From I-17 take Flagstaff Airport (exit 337) and drive west. (from
Phoenix direction take a left. From Flagstaff direction take a right.)
At the stop sign on the frontage road take a right and continue up
6/10 of a mile to PURPLE SAGE ROAD.
Take a left on to Purple Sage Road (the only way you can turn).
Approximately 200 yards up take a left.
Approximately 100 yards up take a right and go through the "gate" to
the Posse Arena.
(Please follow the signage)

Elevation is 6500 feet in cool mountain pine forest terrain.
There is potable water on site. Porta privy facilities.
This is a camping event and minor curfews will be in effect and
strictly enforced.
As in the past Fort Tuthill does have a 10:00 PM noise curfew. Please
be considerate of the military personnel housed near site.
Pets are permitted on leash at ALL times, with updated vaccinations,
and tagged with owner's information in case the owner gets lost.
Fire Restrictions will be known closer to event date via the Coconino
Forestry Service announcements.

Site Fees:
Adult with proof of SCA membership for the weekend:   $20.00
Adult without proof of membership for the weekend:    $23.00
Youth (ages 8 - 17 years) for the weekend:            $10.00
Children under 7 years:                               Free
Adult with proof of SCA membership DAY PASS:          $10.00
Adult without proof of SCA membership DAY PASS:       $13.00
Youth (ages 8 - 17 years) DAY PASS:                   $5.00
