And another reason for playing earlier in the day, is the weather.  It'll be cooler then.  We'll

get the full blast of heat the later we play.

Would it be possible to play in the early afternoon?  I don't mean to sway final decisions on scheduling; it's just that 5pm would be a bit late for me as I have plans with family in the early evening.

So only Karen and I showed at 4, so we kicked a ball around for about an hour.  As we were leaving,  a group of HS kids showed up and started playing 4 on 4, but we were done...our thought was to start at 5 PM going forward,  as perhaps that friendly is a regular we can join in to,   and it is also a pretty safe time that the field will be out of use by travel and "rec" teams..

I couldn't make it yesterday; I had a relative visit over the weekend, sorry.
 
I'm not sure about next Sunday; depends on whether I get a ticket or not to the
U.S.-Argentina friendly at Giants Stadium.

I'm in for some pick up soccer as long as there are people to play with!!. I have a feeling that the pick up games at Scarsdale H.S......when is the other group having pick up soccer? seems that they are always changing area....a bit confusing.

We played on Sunday May 4th. We had four people from our group and we
joined 4 other players that happened to be there that day. So we had a
4 vs 4 game on the turf field. We had a good game for a few hours with
high quality play.  A good time was had by all.

The turf field as well as the grass field on Wayside Lane were both
available. I think we will continue to have good luck and have a place
to play going forward.

As you know, we took Mother's Day off.
