As a postscript regarding Pedal to the Park, now that the event has
Stage 1 under its belt, Stage 2 announced, a forecast to grow and
continue 2 events per year (Spring and Fall to bookend the MLB season),
and a PTP homepage, with year-round activities - Would it be asking too
much to list Pedal to the Park on the SDTC links page, under the
"Events" heading? This listing would compare to other club members
organizational listings under the "Tandem Links" and "Bike Shops"
headings. We also note that the Great Western Bicycle Rally has both
SDTC Links page and Calendar listings, which is what PTP is requesting.
We understand that these sort of website content decisions have been
made with the sentiment of club membership in the past, so perhaps the
members that attend the upcoming meeting could be polled on this
proposed addition to the Links page. If necessary, an email poll could
be taken.
The proposed listing is:

A project with mission to create a peloton of partners to celebrate and
enjoy the recreational and social benefits of cycling for all ages,
levels, and abilities.
