I have a full race 28 pound Griffen Tandem for sale. The material is called Boron Carbide Ceramic Metal Matrix and was used as bullet proofing for the Apache Helicopter before being de-classified a number of years ago. I have been riding Griffen singles and tandems for many happy years. They are HUGE in the triathlon industry.
A few details about the bike: Dura Ace 9 speed, FSA Carbon bar/stem/crank sets and stoker bars. Stand over height is 30 3/4 for captain and 29 1/4 for stoker. I have full measurements for anyone that is interested. The front is a 53/39/30 and rear is a 11/25.
NEW Eastern Circuit rims, new Rubino Pro Kevlar tires, new stoker Butterfly seat, new captain Selle Italia Nitrox saddle and new chains and cassette (a few rides only). This bike is a show piece and rides like a single, very very responsive.
